Questions about this item

What interface standard does the C-256-A set screw collar use for shaft attachment?

The C-256-A uses a set screw interface that clamps directly onto the shaft without a separate keyway or locking mechanism.

What physical dimensions must the shaft and mounting space accommodate for this collar?

The collar fits shafts matching its bore size and requires enough radial clearance for the set screw head to tighten fully.

How is the C-256-A installed and which step is commonly missed?

Slide the collar onto the shaft, align it, then tighten the set screw firmly; the step often missed is re-checking screw torque after initial operation.
