One-Piece Threaded Clamping Collectible

This new collectible from Climax Metal Products is a one-piece threaded clamping component supplied in a transparent finish. It is categorised as sports memorabilia and also listed under bearings, V-belts and power transmission equipment. The item ships directly from the manufacturer.

Replaces Loose Multi-Part Assemblies

The single-piece design removes the need to align separate collars and set screws during maintenance or display. The upgrade is worth it when a compact, self-contained clamp reduces assembly time and eliminates lost hardware in a collection or workshop.

Simple Thread-In Installation

Installation requires threading the clamp onto the mating shaft or rod until secure; no specialised tools are needed. The main risk is cross-threading if the male threads are damaged or contaminated, which can prevent full engagement. California Proposition 65 warnings apply for cancer and reproductive harm.

Questions about this item

What shaft diameter does the TC-087-14-S clamping collar fit?

The model suffix 14 indicates a 14 mm bore, so the collar clamps onto a 14 mm shaft.

How do I install the one-piece threaded clamping collar without damaging the shaft?

Slide the collar onto the shaft, then tighten the single clamping screw evenly; over-torquing the screw can mar the shaft surface.

When should I replace the TC-087-14-S collar?

Replace the collar if the clamping screw threads strip, the bore becomes oval, or the finish shows corrosion that could weaken the grip.
