Compact 1.7in wireless camera

The Clover 1 is a tiny 1.7 by 1.7 by 0.94 inch wireless surveillance camera that connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi router for remote viewing and automatic recording. It targets homeowners, parents and pet owners who need a discreet indoor monitor that can be checked from a phone app.

Continuous recording with local storage

When a micro SD card between 8 GB and 64 GB is inserted the camera records video continuously at 30 fps without relying on cloud services. Plugged into mains power it can run all day, so footage is available for playback whenever an event needs reviewing.

Low power draw and silent operation

The unit draws 3.7 watt-hours from a corded electric supply and has no moving parts, so it runs silently and generates minimal heat. Rated for humidity level 1 it can also be used in covered outdoor spots where a small, unobtrusive camera is required.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 3.7 watt-hour camera draw when it runs continuously all day?

The unit is rated at 3.7 watt-hours and draws power from a corded electric supply, so it runs steadily without battery drain.

What extra hardware do I need to get the 1.7-inch camera recording to a 64 GB card?

You must supply an 8–64 GB microSD card, a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi router and the free HDWiDiCam Pro app on an Android or iOS phone.

Will the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi link on this camera interfere with older 2.4 GHz devices I still use?

It operates on a standard 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection like other legacy gear, so it shares the same band without special conflicts.
