What this camera is and who it suits

The Clover 3MP 2K indoor wireless surveillance camera delivers 1440p resolution with 355° pan and 60° tilt for wide room coverage. It is designed for home monitoring of pets, children, elderly relatives, living rooms, nurseries and entry areas. Smart human detection and instant app alerts keep you informed of important activity while reducing unnecessary notifications. Color night vision and infrared modes provide clear low-light viewing.

Check your setup before ordering

The camera connects via 2.4GHz WiFi only and does not support 5GHz networks, so verify your router broadcasts a 2.4GHz band during setup. It requires a corded electric power source and operates indoors in normal humidity conditions. Local recording needs a microSD card up to 256GB which is not included. The SmartThings app handles configuration, live view and alerts.

How it fits into your monitoring setup

Pan and tilt control through the app lets you scan more of a room from a single placement on a table, shelf or cabinet, reducing the need for multiple cameras. Two-way audio enables remote conversation with family or pets. Motion tracking follows detected humans in real time. Encrypted cloud storage trial and microSD recording provide flexible 24/7 capture options while a privacy mode can disable viewing when desired.

Questions about this item

Does the box include a microSD card for the 256GB local storage option?

The microSD card is not included. The camera supports cards up to 256GB for 24/7 recording, so you need to purchase one separately. Cloud storage trial is also available.

Should I choose cloud storage or a 256GB microSD card for 24/7 recording?

A 256GB microSD card gives you continuous local recording without ongoing fees. The encrypted cloud trial is useful for backup, but a card lets you keep full 2K footage on the device.

What does the 1440p resolution actually show on my phone screen?

The 3MP 2K sensor streams 1440p video to the app, so you see sharper detail on faces, pets, and room objects than standard HD when viewing live or recorded clips.
