7" IPS Wireless Baby Monitor

The Clover Advanced HQ Max is a dedicated wireless baby monitor with a 7" IPS screen that shows 720p video. It uses encrypted 2.4 GHz FHSS transmission so the camera connects directly to the parent unit without any WiFi network or smartphone app. The camera unit is mains powered while the parent unit runs on a built-in 5000 mAh rechargeable battery.

Parents wanting a secure offline monitor

This system suits caregivers who want a completely self-contained monitor with no internet connection, cloud storage or subscription fees. The 1000 ft FHSS range covers most homes and gardens. Buyers who need remote viewing from outside the home, cloud recording, or integration with a smart-home platform should look at WiFi-enabled cameras instead.

Check power and mounting before ordering

The camera requires a nearby mains outlet for continuous operation. The parent unit provides up to 12 hours of video streaming or 18 hours of audio-only use per charge. Verify that the 110-degree lens angle and the remote 360-degree pan with 122-degree tilt cover the intended nursery area. The 178-degree screen viewing angle allows flexible placement of the parent unit.

Questions about this item

Does the camera need a mains socket or can it run on its own battery?

The camera unit is corded electric and must stay plugged in; only the 7" parent unit carries the 5000 mAh battery for up to 12 hours of video or 18 hours of audio.

Will the 2.4 GHz FHSS signal reach a camera placed at the far end of a large house?

The encrypted FHSS link is rated for 1000 feet, so it comfortably covers most homes, yards and garages without relying on a Wi-Fi router.

How can I confirm the night-vision and temperature sensor are active after pairing?

In a darkened room the screen switches to monochrome automatically, and the parent unit displays the nursery temperature reading alongside the video feed.
