These cables suit anyone linking devices that sit close together — routers, switches, PCs, VoIP phones, IP cameras, printers, gaming consoles, PoE gear or media players. Check your ports and run length

Verify every endpoint uses an 8P8C RJ45 jack; the plugs will not fit narrower or keyed ports. Confirm the 1.5 ft span covers the distance between devices with a little slack for strain relief. The cables support 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T signalling, so any Gigabit-rated port will negotiate at its highest common speed. They are not for outdoor, in-wall or plenum spaces where a different jacket rating is required.
