20-pack Cat5e patch cables for LAN wiring

This 20-pack supplies 5-foot green Cat5e patch cables for wiring workstations, VoIP phones, IP cameras, printers, gaming consoles, PoE devices and other RJ-45 equipment in a Gigabit LAN. Each cable uses stranded 568B copper-clad aluminium conductors inside a flexible PVC jacket with gold-plated 8P8C plugs on both ends. The bundle suits installers who need many short runs at once.

Sustained throughput at 350 MHz rating

Rated at 350 MHz, the unshielded twisted-pair construction maintains signal integrity up to 1 Gigabit per second across the full 5-foot length. Category 5e specifications limit crosstalk and provide protection against electrical and radio interference during continuous server, cloud-storage or high-definition streaming loads. The CCA conductors deliver the rated bandwidth without the cost of solid copper.

Simple push-in installation with CCA caveats

Cables snap into any standard RJ-45 port without tools; the 5-foot length keeps desk and patch-panel runs tidy. Because the conductors are copper-clad aluminium rather than solid copper, they are not recommended for Power over Ethernet runs that exceed the cable's current capacity or for structured cabling inside walls where solid-core cable is required. The stranded design resists fatigue from repeated reconnection.

Questions about this item

Does the 350 MHz Cat5e cable generate any heat or draw noticeable power when running continuously?

No, the passive copper-clad aluminium conductors and unshielded twisted pairs carry data without active components, so the cable produces no heat and draws no power of its own.

What devices must already have RJ45 ports for these 5 ft green cables to work?

Any equipment with 8P8C RJ45 sockets — computers, routers, switches, VoIP phones, IP cameras, printers, gaming consoles or PoE devices — will connect directly.

Will the 568B wiring scheme on these Cat5e patch cords interoperate with older 100 Mbps network gear?

Yes, the cables support 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX alongside 1000BASE-T, so legacy Fast Ethernet hardware works without configuration changes.
