12U 19-inch open frame rack

This 12U open frame rack accepts standard 19-inch networking, audio-video and telecom equipment. It can be secured to a wall or used as a free-standing unit in a workspace or server room.

Included M6 cage nuts and screws

The package supplies M6 cage nuts and screws so devices can be mounted immediately without sourcing separate hardware. This reduces installation time for network switches, patch panels or AV gear.

18-inch depth with 16-inch stud spacing

Wall-mount brackets are spaced 16 inches centre-to-centre to match North American stud spacing, allowing secure attachment to typical wall framing. The 18-inch depth accommodates deeper equipment while the open four-post design gives unrestricted airflow and cable access.

Questions about this item

Will the M6 cage nuts and screws supplied with the 12U rack need periodic replacement?

The included M6 cage nuts and screws are standard mounting hardware; they do not wear out under normal use and only need replacement if lost or damaged during equipment changes.

What load limit governs how much equipment the 18‑inch deep open frame can hold continuously?

The wall‑mount brackets are spaced 16 inches on centre for North American stud spacing; the rack’s capacity is therefore limited by the wall structure and fasteners used, not by the frame itself.

Does the 19.75‑inch wide open frame generate any noise or heat during all‑day operation?

The rack is a passive metal frame with no fans or power supply, so it produces no noise, no heat and draws no power regardless of how long equipment runs inside it.
