CNB GN605 analog camera for CCTV systems

The CNB GN605 is a 1/3 inch Sony Super HAD CCD camera built for traditional CCTV installations. It delivers 480 to 525 TV lines of resolution with Wide Dynamic Range and an ICR day and night function. Dual voltage operation and flickerless performance suit varied power environments. The lens and mount are sold separately.

480 to 525 TVL capacity and low light headroom

At 480 to 525 TV lines the camera covers standard definition monitoring with clear detail in well lit scenes. Wide Dynamic Range handles high contrast lighting while Digital Slow Shutter pushes minimum illumination to 0.001 Lux for very dark areas. Digital zoom reaches 3x and privacy zones mask sensitive regions. Extreme low light performance depends on the chosen lens aperture.

RS-485 OSD control and analog video limits

On Screen Display settings are adjusted through a wired RS-485 remote controller connected to the camera. Video leaves the unit as a composite analog signal so recording requires a compatible DVR or capture device with BNC inputs. No network streaming or digital output is provided. The separate lens choice determines field of view and focus range.

Questions about this item

Will the GN605 KC2 connect to an existing RS-485 DVR without extra adapters?

Yes, the camera includes a wired RS-485 remote-controller interface that plugs directly into compatible DVRs.

How can I verify the camera is delivering its rated 480 TVL resolution after installation?

View the live feed on a monitor and count horizontal line pairs; a clear 480 TVL picture resolves fine detail up to that limit.

Does the box include a lens or must I purchase a CS-mount lens separately?

The lens and mount are sold separately; you must buy a compatible CS-mount lens before the camera can capture images.
