Product Identity

The CNB LJL-20S is an analogue eyeball dome camera rated at 600 TV lines for outdoor surveillance. It suits installers who need a fixed-lens unit with integrated infrared illumination for perimeter or entrance monitoring.

Bundled Functionality

The camera includes 24 infrared LEDs driven by intelligent IR technology that adjusts output to prevent over-exposure at close range. On-screen display controls provide access to digital noise reduction, automatic gain control, back-light compensation, motion detection zones, privacy masking and image mirroring without external hardware.

Build and Mounting

A three-axis gimbal allows free lens rotation after the base is secured, simplifying aim on walls or ceilings. Dual surface and flush mounting options are supported on a single housing. Power is delivered through a 12 VDC input and an optional RS-485 interface enables Pelco-D or CNB protocol control for pan-tilt-zoom integration.

Questions about this item

Will the 24 IR LEDs need replacement after long-term night use?

The camera uses 25 IR LEDs rated for extended infrared illumination; no user-replaceable LED modules are specified.

What limits continuous recording on the 600 TVL sensor?

The analog CCD output is fixed at 600 TV lines, so resolution ceiling is reached before storage or processing bottlenecks appear.

How much heat does the 12 VDC dome generate when running 24/7?

Power draw is limited to 12 VDC single voltage with no auxiliary heater, so thermal output remains low during all-day operation.
