Portable Bluetooth CD Player

The Coby CD201BK plays audio CDs and MP3 discs while adding Bluetooth output for wireless speakers or earbuds. An integrated FM radio and 3.5 mm auxiliary input expand listening options beyond physical media. Wired headphones are included in the box for immediate private listening. The compact black chassis measures 5.91 in by 5.43 in by 1.18 in and weighs .5 lb.

Rechargeable battery lasts up to 6 hours

A built-in lithium-ion cell delivers up to 6 hours of continuous playback on a full charge, supporting long commutes or study sessions without a cable. The anti-skip buffer keeps audio steady during movement such as walking or vehicle travel. Super Bass enhancement adds low-frequency weight to both CD and MP3 sources. Repeat, shuffle and intro-scan modes help organise extended playlists.

Replaces a standalone CD or MP3 player

This single unit consolidates disc playback, digital file support, FM tuning and wireless streaming that would otherwise require separate devices. The jump is worthwhile when you want physical-media access and Bluetooth convenience together without carrying multiple gadgets. Buyers who need cassette playback, recording functions or multi-disc changers will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

Does the built-in lithium-ion battery get hot during a full 6-hour playback session?

The rechargeable battery is rated for up to 6 hours of continuous use and the unit weighs only .5 lb, so it stays cool enough to hold or keep in a bag while playing.

What power source do I need to recharge the player when the battery runs out?

A DC adapter with a 3.5 mm plug is required; the player has a 3.5 mm DC-in jack for charging the included lithium-ion cell.

Can I connect this CD201BK to my older car stereo that only has an auxiliary input?

Yes, use a standard 3.5 mm audio cable from the player's headphone jack to the car stereo's AUX input for wired playback.
