2x1 HDMI 2.1 KVM Switch

This COFIER KVM switch connects two HDMI 2.1 sources to a single display. It supports video resolutions up to 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz with a maximum bandwidth of 48Gbps. The unit requires external USB power to operate and includes a button for instant source switching with LED status indicators.

Suits dual-PC desk setups.

Ideal for users sharing one monitor between two computers or gaming consoles. The switch handles 8K and high-refresh 4K signals automatically. Buyers needing simultaneous output to multiple displays should look elsewhere, as this device only switches a single active signal path. It also does not function without the supplied USB power cable connected.

Handles 8K 60Hz and 4K 120Hz.

The switch comfortably passes 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz when both source and cable meet the HDMI 2.1 specification. If one source outputs 8K and the other 4K, the display will be limited to 4K resolution. Bandwidth headroom reaches 48Gbps, but actual performance depends entirely on the lowest-capability device in the chain.

Questions about this item

Does this KVM switch draw power from the connected PCs or does it need its own USB power source?

The switch requires external power via the included USB cable; without it the sources and display will not show anything.

If I connect one 8K source and one 4K source, what resolution will the display output?

The display will operate at the lower 4K resolution because the output depends on the lower-capability source.

How can I confirm the switch is passing an 8K 60 Hz signal after I press the button?

The indicator lights show the active port, and the display will report 8K at 60 Hz when a compatible source and certified HDMI 2.1 cable are used.
