SKU CH-5V5S-PDVS7 MPN CAT6AUTP5BLK

A 5 ft black Cat6a UTP patch cable with snagless RJ-45 connectors on both ends for network device connections

  • Category 6a cable handles high-speed network traffic
  • 5 ft length suits short rack or desk connections
  • Snagless boot protects the RJ-45 latch during insertion and removal
  • Unshielded twisted pair design keeps the cable flexible for tight routing
  • Black jacket colour helps identify links in a coloured cable scheme

Five-foot Cat6a patch cable for network devices

This Category 6a UTP patch cable measures five feet and terminates in RJ-45 male connectors at both ends. The black jacket covers unshielded twisted pairs rated for Cat6a performance. Snagless boots protect the connector tabs during repeated insertion and removal.

Suits installers who need a short Cat6a link

Buyers who require a five-foot unshielded Cat6a patch lead for switches, routers or patch panels will find the length and connector type match that need. Users who need shielded cable, longer runs or a different colour should select another product.

Push the RJ-45 plugs until they click into the ports

Snagless boots reduce the chance of tab breakage when routing through tight spaces. The most common issue is inserting the connector at an angle, which can bend pins or leave the latch unseated. Ensure each end clicks fully home for a reliable link.

Questions about this item

What RJ-45 ports must my devices already have for this Cat6a cable to connect?

Both devices need a standard RJ-45 network port; the cable has a male RJ-45 plug on each end.

Will the snagless boots on this 5 ft patch cable clear the latch on my older router and switch ports?

Yes, the snagless boot design protects the latch tab while fitting legacy RJ-45 jacks.

How can I confirm the cable is passing data at Cat6a speeds after I plug it in?

Check the link lights on both ports and run a speed test; a solid gigabit or multi-gigabit link indicates correct operation.
