Shielded Category 6 cable

This seven-foot black patch cable uses shielded Category 6 construction with RJ-45 male connectors on both ends. It is built for installers and network managers who need reliable copper links in data centres, LANs or WANs. The snagless boot protects the latch during repeated insertions and removes cleanly from dense patch panels. Shielding reduces electromagnetic interference in electrically noisy racks.

Fits standard RJ-45 ports

The cable plugs directly into any 8P8C jack on switches, routers, servers or wall outlets without adapters. Its low-profile moulded boot keeps the bend radius tight so it routes cleanly through cable managers and high-density panels. Shielded twisted pairs free up bandwidth headroom for PoE devices and multi-gigabit uplinks by suppressing alien crosstalk. The seven-foot length reaches between adjacent rack units without leaving slack coils.

Passive copper, no power draw

As a purely passive assembly the cable adds no heat, fan noise or electrical load to the installation. Shielded conductors contain radiated emissions so adjacent cables and sensitive equipment remain unaffected. Rated to 550 MHz bandwidth, it supports 1000 BASE-T, 100 BASE-T and 10 BASE-T Ethernet plus legacy Token Ring and voice circuits. TIA/EIA 568B compliance guarantees consistent insertion loss and return loss across the full run.
