Computar Ganz BCH-IR312NA-II bullet camera

This Computar Ganz bullet camera delivers 540 TVL resolution through a 3.3-12mm varifocal lens. Thirty IR LEDs provide over 100 feet of night illumination. An IP67 rating protects the housing in all weather conditions. True day/night switching and backlight compensation handle changing light.

Outdoor sites needing analog coverage

Installers who need an analog bullet with varifocal flexibility and long-range IR will fit this unit. Sites that require IP networking, higher than 540 TVL resolution, or motorised zoom should look at other camera types. Buyers without existing coaxial cabling infrastructure should also consider alternatives.

Bracket-fed cable entry simplifies mounting

The cable feed-through bracket keeps wiring tidy during installation. A photocell automatically activates the IR LEDs at dusk, removing the need for manual scheduling. The auto-iris lens adjusts to bright scenes without installer intervention. Varifocal focus must be set by hand at the camera.

Questions about this item

What type of coaxial cable and power supply does the BCH-IR312NA-II require for installation?

The camera uses a standard BNC video output for coaxial cable and needs a 12 V DC power source, both fed through the cable feed-through bracket.

Can the BCH-IR312NA-II share a DVR with older analog cameras that have lower TVL ratings?

Yes, the 540 TVL signal works on any standard analog DVR channel alongside lower-resolution cameras without compatibility issues.

How can I confirm the 30 IR LEDs are providing the rated 100-foot night vision range after mounting?

At night, view the live feed at maximum zoom; you should see clear detail on a target roughly 100 feet away with the IR illumination active.
