12 VDC 3.0 A power supply for PT127XT-IP

This Computar Ganz unit delivers regulated 12 VDC at 3.0 A for the PT127XT-IP camera. It is intended for installers and system integrators who need a direct replacement or spare power source for that specific model. The supply plugs into mains and provides the exact voltage and current the camera requires. No other devices are supported by this accessory.

Capacity and headroom for continuous camera

The 3.0 A rating comfortably handles the PT127XT-IP’s normal draw plus pan, tilt and zoom surges. Headroom is limited to the stated output; cameras or housings that demand more current will exceed the supply’s capability. Installers needing redundant power or longer cable runs must calculate voltage drop separately. This unit does not address those requirements.

Questions about this item

Will the 12 VDC 3.0 A output run a PT127XT-IP camera alongside older 12 V accessories on the same circuit?

The supply delivers 12 VDC at up to 3.0 A, so it can power the PT127XT-IP and additional 12 V devices as long as their combined draw stays within 3.0 A.

How can I confirm the C12DC-3.0A is operating correctly once installed?

Measure the output with a multimeter; a steady 12 VDC reading under load shows the unit is functioning as intended.
