600 TVL resolution and 3.8 mm lens coverage

The 600 TVL resolution delivers standard-definition detail for general surveillance tasks. The 3.8 mm fixed lens offers a wide field of view for monitoring open areas. Questions about this item

Will the 3.8 mm fixed lens and 600 TVL resolution work with my existing analogue DVR that uses BNC inputs?

The camera outputs a standard composite video signal over BNC, so any DVR that accepts analogue CVBS at 600 TVL will record the picture without adapters.

How can I confirm the 12 VDC supply and day/night switching are functioning once the CMB712-L38 is mounted?

Measure 12 V at the power terminals with a multimeter, then cover the lens — the image should shift to monochrome as the digital day/night circuit activates.
