Computar Ganz CMB712-L60 board camera

The Computar Ganz CMB712-L60 is a colour board camera built for compact surveillance installations. It delivers 600 TVL resolution through a 6.0 mm fixed lens and operates on 12 VDC power. The 42 x 42 mm form factor fits tight enclosures and discreet mounting points. Digital day/night switching extends usability across changing light conditions.

600 TVL resolution and fixed 6.0 mm lens

The 600 TVL sensor captures clear detail for general monitoring tasks such as entryways, corridors or small retail spaces. The fixed 6.0 mm lens provides a narrow field of view suited to targeted coverage rather than wide-area overview. Digital day/night function handles typical indoor and sheltered outdoor lighting but lacks infrared illumination for total darkness. Buyers needing wider angles, varifocal adjustment or true night vision should consider other form factors.

Questions about this item

Will the 12 VDC power input on the CMB712-L60 work with the 12 V supply I already use for my analogue DVR?

Yes, the camera runs on 12 VDC, so it can share the same regulated 12 V supply that powers your existing DVR, provided the supply has enough spare current for the additional load.

How can I confirm the 600 TVL resolution is actually being delivered after I mount the 6.0 mm lens board camera?

Check the live view on your DVR or monitor; a clean 600 TVL picture will show sharp horizontal detail with no visible line-pair aliasing, and the on-screen display should report a 600 TVL signal when the camera is selected.
