3 Megapixel varifocal lens for long-range CCTV

This Computar Ganz H5Z2518C-MP lens covers a 25 to 135 mm focal range with a constant F1.8 aperture. It is built for 1/2 inch format cameras and resolves up to three megapixels. Manual iris control gives the installer direct exposure setting. The HD series design targets surveillance systems that need ultra long range telephoto capability.

Corner brightness and precise focus for reliable

Uniform corner brightness helps maintain detail across the full frame when the lens is wide open. Precise focus adjustment lets the technician dial in critical sharpness at any focal length. Manual iris operation means no auto-iris circuitry to fail, so power draw stays minimal and the unit runs silently. An auto iris version exists for installations that prefer automatic exposure.

Questions about this item

How do I install the H5Z2518C-MP lens on a C-mount camera and adjust the 25-135mm focal range?

Screw the lens onto the camera's C-mount thread, then rotate the zoom ring to set the desired focal length between 25mm and 135mm, and turn the focus ring until the image is sharp at that setting.

What maintenance will the manual iris mechanism need over time?

The manual iris has no motor or auto-iris cable to fail; periodically check that the aperture ring moves smoothly and clean the front glass with a lens cloth if dust reduces contrast.
