High-Resolution Bullet Camera

The Computar Ganz HWB2-281A17 Pro-Pak is a digital day/night CCTV camera delivering 540 TV lines of resolution. It integrates a 2.8-12mm DC auto-iris lens for variable focal length adjustment. The unit is built for indoor or outdoor surveillance installations requiring a compact, rugged housing. All lenses arrive backfocused with five feet of outdoor-rated power and video cable included.

All-Weather Rugged Housing

A rugged aluminum housing protects internal components across all weather conditions for reliable outdoor deployment. The compact, attractive design suits both indoor and outdoor mounting scenarios. A slide-off cover provides full accessibility to the camera module for quick installation and service. Optional sunshield, ceiling and pole mount accessories extend placement flexibility.

Varifocal Auto-Iris Lens

The integrated 2.8-12mm DC auto-iris lens determines the field of view and light adaptation capability for each specific scene. Installers must verify this focal range matches the required coverage distance and angle. Buyers needing a wider fixed angle or longer telephoto reach should select a different lens configuration. The camera is manufactured in Japan and carries a three-year manufacturer warranty.

Questions about this item

How do I install the HWB2-281A17 and what step is often missed?

Mount the rugged aluminum housing, then slide off the cover to access the camera; the included five feet of outdoor-rated power and video cable must be connected and the backfocused lens checked before closing the cover.

What maintenance or replacement will the HWB2-281A17 need later?

The slide-off cover allows quick access to clean the lens and inspect seals; the auto-iris mechanism and 540-line digital day/night sensor may require service after extended outdoor exposure.

What limit appears first on the HWB2-281A17 under sustained use?

Continuous outdoor operation in all weather conditions will stress the aluminum housing seals and auto-iris function before the fixed 2.8-12mm focal range becomes a constraint.
