A 3–8 mm varifocal CS-mount lens for 1/3" megapixel cameras with manual iris, f/1.2 aperture and IR-corrected optics for day/night surveillance
The Computar Ganz T3Z0312CS-MPIR is a 3 megapixel varifocal lens built for CS-mount day/night cameras using 1/3" format sensors. It provides a 3-8mm focal range so installers can adjust the field of view without moving the camera housing. The manual iris and focus rings give direct control over exposure and sharpness. IR-corrected optics prevent focus shift when the camera switches between day and night modes.
The f/1.2 to 16C aperture range delivers usable images in low-light scenes and prevents overexposure in bright daylight. The 3-8mm zoom covers wide-angle to moderate telephoto perspectives for typical surveillance distances. Focus operates from .3 metres to infinity, allowing close detail and distant coverage. Corner brightness performance remains consistent across the frame, avoiding vignetting at wider settings.
Manual zoom, focus, and iris rings let technicians set the exact view during installation without relying on automatic electronics. IR-corrected optics eliminate focus shift and infrared bleed when the camera transitions to night vision, keeping edges sharp. A DC auto-iris variant exists separately for projects that need automatic exposure control. The lens ships ready for CS-mount megapixel camera bodies.

Yes — it is designed for 1/3" format sensors and provides corner brightness across the full 3-8 mm zoom range.
Focus on a test target in daylight, then switch the camera to night mode; the image should stay sharp without refocusing because the lens is IR-corrected.
The box contains only the T3Z0312CS-MPIR lens; a CS-to-C adapter is not included and must be purchased separately if your camera uses a C-mount flange.
