Outdoor Dome Camera with 700 TVL Resolution

The Computar Ganz ZCOH5-DW21NXA is a new CCTV dome camera built for outdoor surveillance. It delivers 700 TVL ultra-high resolution through a 2.8-12mm computar® High-Speed Varifocal Lens. The housing is designed to meet IP66 standards for impact and weather resistance. It suits installers needing a durable analog camera with flexible focal-length adjustment.

Sustained Imaging Performance with True WDR

A 12,600x Wide Dynamic Range handles high-contrast scenes continuously without blown highlights or crushed shadows. Sensitivity reaches 0.3 lux in color and 0.03 lux in black-and-white, while Sens-up 512x mode pushes low-light detection to 0.0006 lux. 2D/3D Digital Noise Reduction keeps the image clean during long recording sessions. Four pre-programmed profiles switch automatically to maintain optimal quality as lighting changes.

Installation Flexibility and Common Pitfalls

Dual-voltage 12VDC or 24VAC operation with auto-sensing simplifies power wiring. A built-in conduit hole and ceiling or wall mount options speed up physical mounting. The varifocal lens requires manual zoom and focus adjustment at the camera after positioning. Forgetting to match the recorder to the analog 700 TVL signal is a frequent setup error.

Questions about this item

What power supply does the ZCOH5-DW21NXA need for continuous outdoor operation?

The camera accepts 12 VDC or 24 VAC and auto-senses the input, so a single supply covering either voltage is sufficient for all-day use.

Which mounting hardware must I provide to install this dome on a wall or ceiling?

The housing includes a built-in conduit hole and supports both ceiling and wall mounting, but brackets and fasteners are not included and must be supplied separately.

Can the 700 TVL analog signal connect directly to an older CVBS monitor for local viewing?

Yes, the camera outputs a standard analog composite video signal that plugs into any CVBS-compatible monitor or recorder without conversion.
