This 32 GB kit contains two 16 GB registered ECC DIMMs built for the Dell Precision Workstation T3600 Server. Each module runs at 1333 MHz with CL9 timing at 1.35 V. The 240-pin DDR3L design matches the server memory slots exactly.

Registered ECC Platform Limits

The T3600 Server accepts either registered ECC or unbuffered ECC memory, but the two types cannot be mixed in the same system. Mixing x4 and x8 ranks is allowed only when they reside in separate banks. Four sockets are available, so this two-module kit leaves two slots open for future expansion.

32 GB Installed Headroom

The server supports a maximum of 64 GB, so this kit occupies half the total capacity ceiling. It provides ample headroom for virtualisation workloads and large datasets while leaving room to double the memory later. Systems requiring more than 64 GB or non-ECC memory cannot use this configuration.
