Passive analogue switching limits

Because the unit is entirely passive, it cannot amplify signals or drive high-impedance loads beyond what the source provides. The gold-plated 3.5 mm jacks accept both three-pole and four-pole plugs, but the microphone contact on four-pole headsets is not connected, so voice chat or recording functions will not work through the switch.

One-metre cable included

A 1 metre 3.5 mm audio cable is supplied in the box, so the switch can be placed up to that distance from the common source or playback device without buying an extra lead.
