Scale model for Beatles collectors

This 1:36 scale diecast London taxi reproduces the black-and-cream livery and Japanese tour graphics from The Beatles' 1966 visit to Tokyo. It arrives brand new in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging and carries official licensing.

Suits display-focused fans, not hands-on play

Collectors who want a shelf-ready replica with detailed exterior and interior will appreciate the fixed-body construction and real rubber tyres. Buyers who need opening doors, a steering mechanism or a toy for younger children should look elsewhere because this model has no moving parts.

Ready to display straight from the box

No assembly is required; the model ships complete in its sealed box. The only common issue is the delicate paintwork on the Japanese text graphics, which can chip if the piece is handled roughly or knocked over on a hard surface.

Questions about this item

Does the diecast taxi need a display base or adhesive to stay upright on a shelf?

The model has real rubber tyres and a weighted diecast chassis, so it stands securely on any flat surface without extra fixings.

Will the 1:36 scale match the other Corgi Beatles vehicles I already own?

At 1:36 it shares the same scale as Corgi's other Beatles releases, so the taxi will sit proportionally alongside them.

How can I confirm the Japanese "I Want To Hold Your Hand" graphics are correctly applied after unboxing?

Check both flank panels for the song title in Japanese script and the 1963 single artwork reproduced in the black-and-cream livery.
