Two-Computer HDMI KVM Switch

This HDMI KVM switch lets two computers share one monitor and two USB 3.0 peripherals such as a keyboard and mouse. It is aimed at users who want to control both systems from a single desk setup without constantly swapping cables. Driver-free operation on Windows, Mac OS, Linux and Chrome OS makes it a simple plug-and-play addition.

4K@60Hz Maximum Resolution

The single specification that determines suitability is the maximum supported video resolution of 4K at 60Hz. The switch also handles 4K at 30Hz, 3D and 1080p or lower resolutions, so it matches displays up to that ceiling. Buyers needing higher refresh rates or resolutions beyond 4K@60Hz should look elsewhere.

Passive Cooling And Bus Power

No external power adapter is required because the unit draws power from the connected computers. With no fan or active cooling, it runs silently and adds negligible heat to the workspace. Power consumption stays minimal during normal switching and pass-through operation.

Questions about this item

What does 4K@60Hz actually deliver when the switch is connected?

The switch passes a 4K signal at 60 frames per second to the monitor, so motion stays smooth and colour detail is preserved at the panel's native timing.

Which USB standard limits the peripheral ports on this KVM?

The two shared ports run at USB 3.0 speed, capping connected keyboards, mice or drives at that bandwidth.

How much desk space does the unit need for its cables and button?

Two HDMI cables and two USB cables are included, so the switch sits between the computers and monitor with a single press button on top.
