Thunderbolt 4 cable 40Gbps 240W charging

This 0.2m Thunderbolt 4 cable delivers 40Gbps data transfer and 240W power delivery through a right-angle USB-C connector. It is built for users who need maximum bandwidth and fast charging in tight spaces such as docks, portable monitors or cramped desk setups. The nylon-braided jacket and aluminium alloy shell resist wear during frequent plugging and unplugging.

Check port version and power needs

Verify that your host and peripheral both support Thunderbolt 3 or 4 and USB4 to reach the 40Gbps rate and 240W PD 3.1 charging. The cable carries 48V at 5A, so the charger and device must negotiate that profile for full speed. Confirm the right-angle orientation matches the port layout on your laptop, tablet or expansion dock before ordering.

Replaces shorter or lower-rated cables

It upgrades from cables limited to 20Gbps or 100W, enabling single 8K@60Hz or dual 4K@60Hz video plus simultaneous high-wattage charging. The jump is worth it when you drive high-resolution displays and power-hungry laptops from one port. Buyers who only need basic 5Gbps data or 18W phone charging will not use the extra headroom.
