USB-C splitter with 60W PD and OTG
This 2-in-1 adapter adds a USB-C charging port and a USB-A 2.0 port to a single USB-C socket. It passes up to 60W of Power Delivery at 20V/3A while providing a 480Mbps data link for keyboards, mice, flash drives or game controllers. The 125mm Kevlar-braided cable uses enameled copper cores and an aluminium-alloy shell rated for over 10000 bends.
Suits users who need simultaneous charging
Ideal for tablets, phones or laptops that have only one USB-C port and must stay powered while a wired accessory is connected. Plug-and-play operation requires no drivers. Builders who need multiple USB-A ports, video output, Ethernet or faster than USB 2.0 data rates should look at a multi-port hub or dock instead.
480Mbps USB 2.0 data rate is the limiting spec
The female USB-A port tops out at 480Mbps, so large file transfers will be slow compared to USB 3.x or 3.1 connections. If your workflow moves multi-gigabyte files regularly, this splitter will be a bottleneck; choose a USB 3.x hub for that workload.

Questions about this item
What USB standard does the Type-A port use and what speed does it cap at?
The USB-A female port runs at USB 2.0, so data transfers top out at 480Mbps.
What are the physical dimensions and connector layout of the splitter?
The cable is 125mm long with a 3.2mm outer diameter, an aluminium-alloy shell, and provides one USB-C male plug, one USB-C female PD port, and one USB-A female port.
How do I set it up and what is the common mistake to avoid?
Plug the USB-C male end into the host device, connect a PD charger to the USB-C female port for up to 60W pass-through, then attach peripherals to the USB-A port; the error is omitting the PD charger when the host cannot supply enough power for the connected devices.
