LCD Upgrade for ELITE CAPELLIX Coolers

This kit adds a 2.1" circular IPS LCD to any CORSAIR iCUE ELITE CAPELLIX liquid CPU cooler. The 480 x 480 pixel screen runs at 30 Hz with 600 cd/m² brightness and 16.7 million colours. Four magnetic screws and a USB Y-splitter are included for straightforward fitting. The module draws power and data through the cooler's existing USB connection.

Builders with compatible ELITE CAPELLIX units

The upgrade suits owners of CORSAIR iCUE ELITE CAPELLIX coolers who want live system stats or custom animations on the pump head. It is not for users with non-ELITE or non-CAPELLIX coolers, nor for anyone needing a display that works without iCUE software on Windows. A spare internal USB 2.0 header is required for the splitter.

2.1" 480 x 480 IPS screen at 30 Hz

The display measures 2.1 inches diagonally with a 480 x 480 native resolution and a 30 Hz refresh rate. Its IPS panel delivers 600 nits peak brightness and 24-bit colour depth. This specification decides whether the visual fidelity and animation smoothness meet your expectations for a pump-top dashboard.

Questions about this item

How does the 480x480 resolution look on the 2.1 inch screen in practice?

The 2.1 inch IPS panel packs 480 by 480 pixels into a compact circle, so text and small icons stay sharp at typical viewing distances inside a case.

What does the 30Hz refresh rate cap when displaying animated GIFs or system stats?

A 30Hz refresh means the screen updates thirty times per second, so motion in GIFs or live graphs appears smooth enough for dashboard use but not for fast video.

What clearance does the 73mm diameter module need to fit on an ELITE CAPELLIX cooler?

The 73mm wide LCD cap sits on the existing pump head using four magnetic mounting screws, so it requires the same top clearance as the stock ELITE CAPELLIX cap.
