Multi-platform wired headset

The Corsair HS35 v3 is a carbon-coloured over-ear headset built for gamers who switch between PC, Mac, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. Its 3.5mm connector works with any device that has a standard headphone jack, so no extra adapters are required. Custom-tuned 50mm neodymium drivers deliver a frequency response of 5Hz-20KHz at 32 ohms impedance. The omnidirectional microphone covers 20Hz-20KHz for clear voice pickup.

Check your device has a 3.5mm jack

Before ordering, confirm that your platform provides a single 3.5mm headset port or separate headphone and microphone sockets. The headset uses an analog connection only, so USB-only controllers or consoles without a jack will not work. Onboard volume and mute controls sit on the earcup, so no software installation is needed for basic operation. Weighing .507 pounds, it adds minimal strain during long sessions.

In-box items keep setup simple

The package contains the HS35 v3 headset and a safety information sheet only. No splitter cable, USB sound card or carrying pouch is included, so buyers with separate mic and headphone ports must source a splitter themselves. There is no companion app for EQ tweaks or sidetone adjustment; all audio changes are handled by the host device. The floating headband and fabric earpads are fixed to the frame, not user-replaceable.

Questions about this item

Does the headset ship with anything besides the safety sheet, or do I need a separate 3.5 mm cable?

The package contains only the HS35 v3 headset and a safety information sheet; the 3.5 mm plug is built into the headset so no extra cable is required.

There is only one Carbon model listed — are there different driver sizes or impedances to choose from?

Every unit uses the same 50 mm neodymium drivers rated at 32 ohms impedance and 113 dB sensitivity; no alternative driver or impedance options exist for this SKU.

What does the 113 dB sensitivity figure actually deliver when the headset is plugged into a PS5 controller?

At 113 dB sensitivity and 32 ohms, the HS35 v3 reaches loud, clear volume levels directly from a PS5 controller without needing an external amplifier.
