Multiplatform Wired Headset

The Corsair HS65 Surround connects to PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices through a 3.5 mm jack or USB. Custom-tuned 50 mm neodymium drivers provide a frequency response up to 20000 Hz and 114 dB sensitivity for detailed game audio. Weighing 282 g, the aluminium-reinforced headband and leatherette memory-foam cushions are built for extended sessions.

Audio Capacity And Software Headroom

Dolby Atmos spatial audio on PC places sound in a three-dimensional field, while SonarWorks SoundID tailors the response to personal hearing preferences on PC and Mac. The flip-to-mute omni-directional microphone captures voice at 114 dB sensitivity. On PS5 the headset supports Sony Tempest 3D audio for native spatial processing.

Connection And Compatibility Limits

The 3.5 mm analogue connection works across every listed platform but cannot carry Dolby Atmos or SoundID processing, which require the USB link on PC or Mac. Bluetooth is not used for audio streaming, so wireless freedom is not available. The fixed cable and on-ear fit may not suit users who prefer over-ear isolation or a detachable lead.

Questions about this item

Will the HS65 Surround's 3.5 mm jack work with my older controller that only has a single headset port?

Yes, the 3.5 mm connector carries both audio and microphone signals, so it plugs directly into combined headset ports on older controllers or laptops without an adapter.

How do I confirm Dolby Atmos is active on my PC after installing the headset?

Open the Dolby Access app, sign in, select the HS65 Surround as the output device and the app will show "Dolby Atmos enabled" when spatial audio is rendering.

Does the box include a USB adapter for consoles that lack a 3.5 mm jack?

The package contains the headset with leatherette memory-foam ear cushions and detachable microphone; no USB adapter is included, so consoles without a 3.5 mm port need a separate adapter.
