Cortelco ITT-2500-V-RD Red corded phone

Red desk phone for basic voice calls

The Cortelco ITT-2500-V-RD is a red corded desk telephone built for straightforward voice communication. It uses tone dialling and a single-gong ringer so incoming calls are clearly audible. The handset includes a volume wheel for direct level adjustment during conversation. This unit suits home offices or small businesses that need a simple, reliable landline handset without extra features.

Volume wheel and ringer control adapt the call

An analog volume wheel on the handset lets the user raise or lower listening level instantly without navigating menus. A separate ringer volume control adjusts how loudly the single-gong ringer sounds, helping the phone stay noticeable in a busy room or stay quiet when concentration is needed. Hearing-aid compatibility means the handset works with assistive devices for clearer audio. These controls give immediate, tactile adjustment for everyday use.

Check analogue line and desk space before ordering

This telephone requires a standard analogue telephone line; it will not operate on digital PBX extensions or VoIP ports without an adapter. The handset connects by a coiled cord to the base, so verify the cord reach suits the intended desk position. The red finish is a fixed colour choice and cannot be changed. No power adapter is included because the phone draws line power, so confirm the wall socket provides an active analogue circuit.
