Cortelco ITT-2554-MD-RD 255447-VBA-20MD corded phone

Essential wall phone for basic calls

The Cortelco ITT-2554-MD-RD is a corded wall telephone built for simple voice communication. Its tone dialling and single-gong ringer suit homes or offices that need a reliable, no-frills handset. The red finish adds a visible accent in shared spaces. This model does not serve buyers who want caller ID, speakerphone or memory buttons.

Core function with minimal capacity

The handset handles everyday incoming and outgoing calls through a standard line connection. Tone dialling works with modern exchanges and the mechanical ringer provides audible alerts without external power. It runs out of utility for users who need voicemail integration, headset ports or multi-line operation. No display or directory storage is included.

Passive operation keeps it silent and cool

Because the phone draws power only from the telephone line during active calls, it generates no heat and produces no fan noise. The single-gong ringer sounds mechanically when a call arrives and remains silent otherwise. Standby power draw is effectively zero, so the unit adds nothing to electricity costs. No adapter or batteries are required.
