Studio microphone for creators

The COUGAR SCREAMER-X is a USB studio microphone built for streaming, podcasting, interviews and instrument recording. Three integrated 360-degree capsules with 16mm drivers capture clear, neutral sound. A detachable pop filter and internal foam reduce plosives. An adjustable RGB lighting base adds visual flair for on-camera work.

Four polar patterns and noise reduction

Switch between cardioid, shotgun, bi-directional and omni-directional pickup to suit solo voice, duets, conferences or ambient capture. The environmental noise reduction switch suppresses background sound for gaming streams. Triple capsules provide headroom for multi-person sessions, though very loud sources may still clip at extreme gain.

USB Type-C connectivity and monitoring

A Type-C connection delivers plug-and-play audio transmission without driver hassle. A 3.5mm jack enables lag-free direct monitoring so you hear yourself in real time. Frequency response spans 20Hz-20KHz. The microphone lacks XLR output, so it cannot connect to external audio interfaces or mixers requiring analogue inputs.

Questions about this item

Will the Type-C connection on this COUGAR SCREAMER-X work with my older USB-A ports?

Use a USB-C to USB-A cable or adapter; the microphone draws power and audio over the same link so no extra drivers are needed on legacy ports.

How do I know the triple 16mm drivers and 360-degree capsules are capturing audio correctly after I plug it in?

Plug headphones into the 3.5mm monitor jack, tap the mute button to hear live input, and toggle the noise-reduction switch to confirm clean pickup.

Does the box include a boom arm or desk stand, or do I need to buy a mount separately?

The microphone has a mounting screw hole for a crane stand; no boom arm or desk stand is included, so purchase a compatible mount separately.
