Crayola 684036 Long Barrel Colored Woodcase Pencils 3.3 mm 36 Set

36-Set Colored Pencils

Crayola 684036 supplies 36 assorted colors in long-barrel woodcase pencils with 3.3 mm cores. The thick leads resist breakage under pressure and deliver smooth, nonscratch laydown. Certified AP nontoxic and made from reforested wood, they conform to ASTM D-4236 for safe classroom or studio use. Presharpened points stay sharp longer and resharpen easily.

Compatibility Check

Verify that your project needs standard-diameter colored pencils rather than markers, crayons, or water-soluble media. The 3.3 mm cores fit most handheld sharpeners and electric models designed for thick leads. Ensure your paper or surface accepts wax-based pigment for blending and layering without feathering. No special holders or adapters are required.

Ideal Users & Limits

Suits artists, students, and hobbyists who want a broad palette of break-resistant pencils for drawing, coloring, and color mixing. The long barrel supports extended sessions without frequent sharpening. Not suited for buyers who need watercolor effects, metallic finishes, or ultra-fine detail work that demands thinner leads. Also not a fit for anyone requiring erasable or solvent-based media.
