Crestron CEN-IDOCV iPod control interface

The Crestron CEN-IDOCV is a surveillance accessory that integrates Apple iPod, iPhone and iPod touch devices into a Crestron whole-house AV system. It connects the player via a multi-pin cable or compact docking station and provides two-way touch-screen control of the media library.

Installers needing authenticated Apple integration

This unit suits installers who require Apple authentication-chip compatibility with 6th-generation and later iPod classic, iPod nano or iPod touch models for metadata, album art and video playback on Crestron touch screens. It does not serve buyers who need direct streaming services, wireless AirPlay connectivity or control of non-Apple media players.

Single-device docking with Ethernet sync

The interface handles one Apple device at a time, delivering audio and video distribution, battery charging and high-speed Ethernet syncing to iTunes across the Crestron network. Capacity ends at a single docked player; multi-room zones require additional CEN-IDOCV modules for each independent source.
