A 1 TB 2.5 inch SATA internal SSD with included tools for faster startup and improved system response
The Crucial BX500 is a 1 TB internal solid-state drive with a 2.5 inch form factor and a SATA interface. It is designed as an entry-level upgrade to replace a mechanical hard drive in a laptop or desktop. The package includes tools that simplify the physical installation process.
Before ordering, confirm that the target system has a free SATA data port and a 2.5 inch drive bay or compatible mounting bracket. The drive requires a standard SATA power connector from the power supply. Note that this model is built for the Japanese market, so the firmware interface language is Japanese and cannot be changed.
Under sustained workloads the drive delivers consistent read and write speeds constrained by the SATA 6 Gbps interface. Thermal throttling is minimal because the BX500 operates without a DRAM cache and uses the SATA bus directly. The 100 V voltage rating reflects the original market specification.

The listing states the drive ships with tools for easy installation, so no extra kit is required for a standard 2.5 inch SATA bay.
The 100V figure refers to the Japanese-market power specification; the drive itself draws power from the SATA connector, so a transformer is only suggested as a precaution for the original AC adapter.
