Twelve-slot display for Silver Age comics

This frame holds twelve Silver Age comic books published between 1956 and 1970, each measuring 7.25 by 10.5 inches. The silver-finished wood moulding is .75 inches wide and the overall size is 51 by 24.5 inches. An acid-free black mat and nesting foam keep every book secure and protected. It is built for collectors who want a single wall piece that shows a complete run.

Wall-ready package with foam and UV acrylic

The unit ships with UV-resistant acrylic, foam board backing, an easel stand and hanging hardware already included. No extra glazing, spacers or mounting kits are required to put it on a wall or a shelf. The nesting foam fills the gaps around each comic so nothing shifts after installation. Collectors who need a second frame for a different era will have to order another size.

Stable materials for long-term exposure

The acid-free mat prevents yellowing and the UV acrylic blocks light that fades covers and pages. Wood moulding and foam backing hold their shape without warping under normal indoor conditions. The frame is designed to stay sealed and flat once the comics are nested inside. It is not suited for environments with high humidity or direct sunlight.

Questions about this item

How long will the UV acrylic protect the Silver Age comics from fading under direct sunlight?

The UV acrylic blocks harmful ultraviolet light that causes fading, helping preserve comic books published between 1956 and 1970 during continuous display.

Does the wood frame with 0.75" moulding warp or generate heat when hung in a sunny room all day?

The solid wood moulding resists warping under normal indoor conditions, and the frame itself produces no heat during extended wall display.

Are the acid-free black mat and nesting foam pre-installed, or must I supply my own mounting materials?

The frame arrives with acid-free black mat, nesting foam, UV acrylic, foam board backing, easel stand, and wall hanging hardware already included.
