Display for Current Era Comics

This black wood frame holds four current era comic books measuring 6.875 by 10.5 inches in a two by two grid. Acid free black matting and nesting foam keep each book secure and centred. UV resistant acrylic protects the covers from light damage. Hardware for wall hanging and an easel stand are included.

Replaces Box Storage

The frame moves comics out of long boxes and onto the wall without permanent mounting. It is worth the switch when you want to show the covers daily while keeping the books flat and protected. Collectors who prefer to keep issues bagged and boarded in storage will not need this display.

Stable Under Light Exposure

UV resistant acrylic filters harmful wavelengths so colours stay vivid during continuous display. Solid wood moulding and foam board backing resist warping in normal indoor conditions. The nesting foam holds each comic firmly so nothing shifts when the frame is moved or cleaned.

Questions about this item

What wall space does the 21.5" x 27" frame need?

The frame measures 21.5 inches wide by 27 inches high, so allow at least that much clear wall area for the 2x2 grid layout.

How do I secure each comic with the included nesting foam?

Place each comic on the acid-free black mat, then press the supplied nesting foam behind it so the foam fills the gap and holds the book flat against the UV acrylic.

When should I replace the UV acrylic or foam backing?

Replace the UV acrylic if it yellows or scratches enough to obscure the comics, and swap the foam board backing if it warps or loses rigidity over time.
