42U 19in rack for high-density installs

The CyberPower CR42U11001 is a 42U 19in server rack built for high-density server installations, network applications and data centre environments. It suits integrators who need a standard-width enclosure with deep usable space for heavy equipment.

600x1070mm footprint and load limits

The enclosure measures 78.4" high, 23.6" wide and 42.1" deep with a 600mm by 1070mm floor footprint. It withstands 3000 lbs stationary load and 2250 lbs dynamic load, so floor capacity and aisle width must handle that weight and the 35.6" usable depth.

Metal frame, square holes, removable roof

Black powder-coated metal construction uses square mounting holes for standard rail kits. Perforated front and rear doors aid airflow, the front door is reversible with spring-loaded hinges, and the roof removes via pull-pin hinges for top access even when cables are already routed.

Questions about this item

How do I know if this 42U rack will fit my 19-inch equipment?

The enclosure is built to the standard 19-inch mounting width with square holes, so any 19-inch server or network gear will bolt directly to the rails.

What does the 3000 lb stationary rating mean once the rack is on the data-center floor?

You can load up to 3000 lbs of servers and switches in the cabinet while it sits in place; the 2250 lb dynamic rating applies when the unit is rolled on its casters.

How do the square mounting holes affect the way I install rails and shelves?

Square holes accept cage nuts, letting you snap in standard 19-inch rails or shelves at any of the 42U positions without threading screws into the frame.
