Smart App Sinewave 750 VA UPS

The CyberPower PR750RT2UC is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply rated at 750 VA and 750 W with pure sine wave output. It suits network gear, servers or workstations that require clean power during outages or brownouts. The 2U rack-tower chassis fits standard racks or sits on a shelf, and the 10 ft input cord uses a NEMA 5-15P plug for ordinary 120 V circuits. Buyers who need extended runtime beyond the internal battery or higher VA capacity should look elsewhere.

Line-interactive topology with AVR

Automatic Voltage Regulation corrects sags and swells from 75 V to 149 V without draining the battery, keeping the sealed lead-acid cells in reserve for true blackouts. At full 750 W load the unit runs for 7.5 minutes; at half load it delivers 19 minutes. Recharge from empty to 90 percent takes 3 hours. Audible alarms signal battery mode, low battery, overload, overcharge and overheat conditions. The 2430 J surge rating handles transient spikes on the 120 V line.

Replaceable battery pack and management ports

The RB1250X4 battery cartridge is user-replaceable through the toolless front panel, and color-coded rear outlets simplify cable routing. Eight NEMA 5-15R receptacles provide both battery backup and surge protection for connected devices. A serial port and a dry-contact interface enable integration with monitoring software or building management systems. The LCD readout shows load, voltage and battery status at a glance. Installers needing hardwired input or three-phase distribution cannot use this model.

Questions about this item

How do I install the PR750RT2UC in a 2U rack and which step is often missed?

Mount the unit using the included rack ears, then connect the NEMA 5-15P plug to a 120 V circuit and link equipment to the eight NEMA 5-15R outlets; the step often missed is installing the PowerPanel Business software and connecting the serial or dry-contact cable so the UPS can signal the OS before battery runs out.

What maintenance will the PR750RT2UC need and which part is user-replaceable?

The sealed lead-acid battery pack is user-replaceable; the specified replacement module is RB1250X4, and typical service life is three to five years before runtime drops below the rated 19 minutes at half load or 7.5 minutes at full load.

What limit appears first when the PR750RT2UC runs at full 750 W load for an extended period?

Battery runtime ends after 7.5 minutes at full load, after which the UPS shuts down; the 2430-joule surge rating and 75–149 V input window do not limit operation before the battery is depleted.
