Extension Cable for 8-Pin CPU Power

This 12-inch extension adds length to an existing 4+4-pin EPS cable. The white single-braid sleeve gives a clean look inside the case. It is designed for builders who need extra reach when routing power to the motherboard socket.

Suits tidy routing; not for short runs

The 30 cm length helps when the stock cables fall short of the CPU connector. Builders working in compact chassis with minimal cable slack will not benefit from the added length.

4+4-pin EPS connector decides fit

The cable terminates in an 8-pin EPS plug that splits into two 4-pin halves. This matches motherboards requiring the full 8-pin or either 4-pin half for CPU power delivery.

Questions about this item

What PSU connector must I already have to use this 4+4-pin EPS extension?

Your power supply needs an 8-pin EPS (4+4) output so the male end of this cable can plug into it.

Will this 30 cm white braided extension reach an older ATX12V 4-pin CPU header?

Yes, the 4+4 design splits into two 4-pin halves, so one half connects to a legacy 4-pin socket while the other can be tucked away.

How can I confirm the 12-inch extension is seated correctly after routing it behind the motherboard tray?

Both 4-pin halves should click firmly into the motherboard EPS header and the PSU-side connector should latch securely with no visible pin gaps.
