The Darkside Computer Modding Type 11 cable is a 12-inch universal power extension designed for custom PC builds. It connects three LED devices to a single motherboard or fan controller header using 4-pin Molex plugs. This simplifies wiring for modders who want to add multiple lighting elements without running separate power lines from the PSU.

Molex Connector Limits

The 4-pin Molex interface supplies power but carries no data or PWM control signals. All three connected LEDs will receive the same voltage and cannot be addressed or dimmed independently from the header. The 12-inch length restricts placement to components near the controller, so devices mounted in distant corners of a large chassis may need a different cable.

Three-Way Splitter Capacity

The splitter comfortably handles three standard LED strips or fans drawing typical current for 4-pin Molex devices. It runs out of headroom if the combined draw exceeds the motherboard or controller header's rated output, which the cable itself does not increase. Builders needing more than three devices or higher total current must use a powered hub or separate header.
