3-gang low-voltage cable plate

The DataComm Electronics 45-0003-WH is a three-gang recessed plate designed for routing low-voltage cables behind flat-panel displays, amplifiers or similar audio and video equipment. It provides a tidy pass-through for HDMI, speaker wire or other signal cables in residential or light-commercial installations.

Installs on a low-voltage bracket

The plate mounts onto a standard low-voltage mounting bracket and can be oriented with the opening facing up or down to suit the cable run. No electrical box is required, but the bracket must be secured to the stud cavity before the plate is screwed in place.

Three openings for multiple cable types

The three-gang layout accommodates several cable bundles at once, keeping HDMI, audio and control wires organised behind the display. It is not suited for high-voltage power cables or for installations that demand a single-gang or two-gang footprint.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 3-gang recessed low-voltage cable plate is working as intended after setup?

Once installed on a low-voltage mounting bracket with cables routed through the three openings, the plate sits flush and allows cables to pass cleanly behind a flat-panel TV or amplifier without visible gaps or strain on connectors.

What comes in the box with the 45-0003-WH and what must be purchased separately?

The package includes the white 3-gang recessed cable plate only; a low-voltage mounting bracket and any cables are sold separately.

Which version of the DataComm Electronics 3-gang cable plate should I choose for a standard installation?

The 45-0003-WH in white is the single model offered for 3-gang recessed low-voltage applications; select it when you need three cable openings in a white finish.
