1/8 in Orange Vinyl-Coated Cable

This Dayton cable is a 500 ft length of galvanised steel wire rope with an orange vinyl coating. The 7 x 7 strand construction gives a working load limit of 340 lb and a breaking strength of 1,700 lbf. It is supplied plain-ended and unlubricated for general lifting and rigging tasks.

Suits general lifting and rigging.

The vinyl coating adds visibility and a measure of corrosion resistance for outdoor or industrial use. Buyers who need a higher working load limit or a different strand construction for greater flexibility should look at alternative specifications. Those requiring specific temperature ratings or a lubricated finish will not find them here.

340 lb working load limit

The published working load limit of 340 lb is the primary figure that determines whether this cable matches the load requirements of the job. Always verify that the applied load stays within this rating before use.
