Product Identity

This Dayton 34RZ86 coil chain is a 100 ft length of Trade 4/0 carbon steel chain with a 670 lb working load limit. It is intended for traffic and parking lot applications such as barriers, gates or general-purpose restraint where lifting is not required.

Installation Notes

The chain is supplied as a continuous 100 ft coil with no hooks or end fittings included. Users must cut to length and attach their own connectors; the straight links measure 1 3/8 in inside length and 3/8 in inside width. Zinc plating resists corrosion, but the chain is rated only to 400 °F and must not be used for overhead lifting.

Deciding Specification

The 670 lb working load limit is the single figure that determines whether this chain suits the intended load. Buyers who need a higher working load limit or a chain rated for lifting should select a different product.
