Peerless 7704032 Sash Chain 100 ft

This Peerless 7704032 flat sash chain comes in a 100 ft length with a working load limit of 131 lb. It is made from carbon steel with a zinc-plated finish for corrosion resistance. The weldless construction uses trade size 40 links measuring 5/8 in inside length. It suits general utility, tie-down and non-lifting tasks around the yard.

Installing the flat sash chain

The chain has 21 links per foot and a material thickness of 3/64 in, so it feeds through pulleys and guides smoothly. No hook is included, so you must provide your own attachment hardware. Weldless links can deform if loaded beyond the 131 lb limit or if shock-loaded. Keep the zinc plating intact to maintain corrosion protection.

Check your setup before ordering

Verify that your application does not require lifting, as this chain is not rated for overhead loads. Confirm that 131 lb working load limit meets the forces you expect. Ensure the 5/8 in link inside length fits your existing pulleys or fairleads. The 100 ft coil weighs roughly 9 lb total.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the chain is functioning correctly after installation?

Check that each of the 21 links per foot moves freely, the zinc-plated carbon steel shows no kinks, and the flat sash profile lies evenly across the full 100 ft length.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains 100 ft of weldless sash chain, trade size 40, with a 3/64 in material thickness and no hook; you will need to supply any hooks, connectors or mounting hardware required for your application.

Which version or capacity should I choose for my project?

This single specification — model 7704032, 131 lb working load limit, 0.09 lb per foot, meeting ASTM, NACM and OSHA standards — is the only option offered; select it when those ratings match your load and compliance requirements.
