Product Identity

The Dayton 5W661 Nose Plate Extension is an aluminum attachment designed for compatible hand trucks. It provides a 200 lb load capacity with an 11 in width and 31 in depth. The beveled, open straight profile allows easier sliding under bulky or awkward items. This new accessory targets users who need to extend the reach of their existing equipment.

Build Integration

The extension mounts to a suitable hand truck nose plate to increase the loading surface. Its aluminum construction keeps the added weight low while maintaining the rated capacity. The beveled edge reduces friction when positioning the plate under loads. Users must verify that their hand truck matches the 11 in width and can accommodate the 31 3/4 in overall height.

Suitability

This suits operators moving wide, flat loads such as sheet goods or large boxes that overhang a standard nose plate. It is not for applications exceeding the 200 lb rating or requiring a different mounting width. Buyers needing a solid plate surface or a different depth profile should look at other configurations.
