Replacement fan for Lenovo B540 B340 B540P

This DBTLAP cooling fan replaces the original BUB0812DD-BK20 unit in compatible Lenovo laptops. It operates at 12V DC with a 0.58A draw and uses a 4-pin connector. Each unit is tested before shipping to confirm function.

12V 4-pin interface limits

The fan requires a 12V DC supply rated for at least 0.58A and a matching 4-pin header on the motherboard. Polarity and pin assignment must match the original BUB0812DD-BK20 specification exactly. Mismatched voltage or pin-out will prevent operation or cause damage.

Installation checks and common issues

Verify the part number 6033B0028901 against your laptop service manual before ordering. Compare the supplied photos with the old fan to confirm dimensions and connector orientation. Incorrect part selection is the most frequent cause of fitment problems.

Questions about this item

Which Lenovo models does this BUB0812DD-BK20 fan fit?

It is listed for B540, B340 and B540P models; verify the part number 6033B0028901 against your old fan before ordering.

What does the 12V 0.58A rating mean for daily use?

The fan draws 0.58 amps at 12 volts, so it runs directly from the laptop’s 12 V fan header without an external adapter.

How does the 4-pin connector control the fan?

The 4-pin PWM header lets the motherboard adjust speed automatically based on temperature.
