Questions about this item

How much power does the 446-series fan draw when running continuously?

The fan connects to the laptop's internal header and draws minimal current from the system board, so it does not add noticeable load to the battery during all-day use.

What must the buyer already have inside the TravelMate P446 to install this cooler?

You need the original heatsink mounting bracket and the 3-pin or 4-pin fan connector on the motherboard that matches the replacement unit.

Will this cooler fit the Z8C chassis if I keep the existing copper heat pipe?

Yes, the fan is built to the same mounting points as the factory unit, so it aligns with the existing heat pipe and screw holes on the TMP446-MG-51QA motherboard.
